Thomas T. (Ty) Thacker, President, graduated from the University of Texas in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering and is the owner and President of 3T.  Ty has successfully guided 3T in its exploration and production efforts for his family and numerous industry/non-industry partners.  Ty is married with four children, one son and three daughters, and is currently active in the Boy Scouts of America and the Hands to Hands Community Fund, as well as many other charitable events.

Thomas T. Thacker, Jr., Vice President, graduated from the University of Texas in December 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Geology and joined 3T in February 2009. Thomas’ responsibilities include geologic evaluations of current exploration projects, management of day to day operations including the Wolfberry and Horizontal Mississippian Projects, and business development. Thomas is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, North Texas Geological Society, Independent Petroleum Association of America, Board Member of the Hands to Hands Community Fund, Board Member of the Fantasy of Lights, Board Member of the Quail Coalition, and an Alumni Member of the Silver Spurs Organization through the University of Texas at Austin.

W.M. (Bill) Thacker, Jr., Attorney-Legal Council, is the primary owner of 5-T Properties Ltd. with over 57 years of oil and gas experience. Bill was previously a partner in both Expando Production Company and Expando Oil Company, and its successor company, CTR Petroleum Inc, with offices in Wichita Falls and Corpus Christi, Texas.  The Expando companies were initially founded in 1960 and served as successor companies to Fain & McGaha, which was created in 1942.  Bill is married with three sons and has been active in many business and civic organizations, including the Independent Petroleum Association of America, Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association, Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, Midwestern State University Board of Regents, and First United Methodist Church.
